Mayhem Dance Fusion, the brainchild of Mitchel Federan, was formed in January of 2020. This Contemporary dance company will produce cutting-edge works from stage to screen, incorporating artists of various mediums, including dancers, musicians, singers/songwriters, and visual artists. Based in Los Angeles, CA, the company plans to perform at local artistic events throughout the year, helping to support and enliven the arts scene in the city. Mayhem’s Artistic Director, Mitchel Federan, is no stranger to the world of dance companies. He headed a non-profit 501(c)3 company in Ohio called Versatile Dance Company from 2010-2015. Versatile Dance Company raised over $50,000 for local Ohio charities through their five original full-length shows. Mitchel is excited at the prospect of starting an all-new experience in Los Angeles with Mayhem. The company will premier its debut performance later this year, bringing together some of LA’s best up-and-coming artists in the process. Be on the lookout for more Mayhem soon!
